Story
Hi! I'm Jen and I have chosen to do a 26 mile trek this May to raise money for Alzheimer's Society. I've always enjoyed walking but it's very rare that I would go above a few mile dog walk. So training for 26 miles in one day is gonna be hard! But that won't even come close to how hard and challenging it is everyday for someone with dementia in their lives.
We all know someone who has been affected by dementia in some way, and the stories are heartbreaking. It's such a cruel disease that affects too many. And that's why myself, Katy, Nic and Jen are wanting to raise as much as we can for this worthy cause. Every donation is hugely appreciated and can make a huge difference!!!
Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.Thank you for choosing to trek for Alzheimer's Society, together we can be help and hope to everyone affected by dementia.
