On 3rd August 2024, 8 years to the day of loosing my beautiful grandad, myself my mum and my dad will be walking 13 miles along the Suffolk coast in order to raise money for Alzheimer’s Research. Before he was poorly Grandad loved nothing more than a long hike unfortunately Alzheimer’s and dementia took that away from him and after 8 long years he lost his fight. This walk is the perfect way of honouring his memory and raising money for a charity that continues to fight to find a cure for this earth shattering disease.

Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.
