Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.

Sarah and I are doing this walk as both Sarah’s mother and my aunt have Alzheimer’s and we know that help is much needed for those with it which Alzheimer’s Society provide. It would also be good to find better ways to deal with dementia and if possible find a cure from the worst effects.

Sarah and I completed the 13 mile walk in just over four hours on a very pleasant day for walking - warm but not too hot. Thank you to all those that have donated.
