Story
As you may know, Liz was diagnosed a couple of years ago with Alzheimer’s Disease. She is coping well but is keen that we should help to fund research into this condition so that others may avoid it. So, I am proposing to walk 13 miles in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales with my friend, Peter Truman. That doesn't sound much like hardship but I'm sure that I will be pleased to finish! (I should add that my sons, grandson and daughter-in-law are doing the full 26 miles! But they are younger.)
It would be good if you could support this excellent cause which has become so personal to us.
Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.
Thank you for choosing to trek for Alzheimer's Society, together we can be help and hope to everyone affected by dementia.
