I lost my Nana to Alzheimer’s when I was younger. But I still remember to this day how it felt to lose her before she actually passed away. Seeing what was once the strongest woman I’ve ever known be reduced to nothing. Watching the pain on my mother’s face as her mother didn’t even recognise her anymore. I thought all this pain was behind me but i’m currently working alongside someone who is now going through the same thing. Seeing their pain is bringing it all back……so i’m getting off my ass, along with two of the best brothers a man could have and hoping to do something to help.

Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.
