Story
On 16th May, I’ll be taking on a 26-mile trek through the Yorkshire Dales alongside my mum and cousin to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society. Doing this challenge together as a family makes it even more meaningful, especially in a place that’s so close to our hearts. It’s a chance for us to come together, remember my Grandma, and support a cause that has touched our family.
I’m doing this walk in memory of my Grandma, who sadly passed away in 2020 and is missed every day. Taking on this trek together feels like a special way to honour her and the memories we shared as a family.
Alzheimer’s Society is working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They support people living with dementia today, while also campaigning for change and funding vital research to create hope for the future.
If you’re able to donate or support in any way, it would mean a great deal. Thank you for helping us be part of the help and hope for everyone affected by dementia.
