Story

We need to raise £12,000 to undertake urgent restoration works to Tremayne Quay on the Helford River.

This Victorian, stone quay, built in 1847 in preparation for a visit by Queen Victoria has become a popular place for a wide cross section of river users.  It is a quiet and tranquil spot where visitors and locals moor their boats.  It is also a known spot for informal camping due to the flat, grassy area next to the quay and the availability of a couple of fire pits and forms part of a popular walking route.

Tremayne Quay is now in urgent need of some restoration work; more specifically, the replacing of dilapidated stonework.

We have received a donation of £3,000 from a local charitable trust but need to find a further £9,000 if the work is to go ahead.

Please help us if you can, even a small gift will make all the difference to us.

Thank you!
