Crewe to Weybridge · 16 May 2015

We provide trained counsellors to help our clients come through the mental, physical and spiritual suffering caused by all types of abuse.We specialise in sexual abuse including rape and incest, and to provide education and training for those working to alleviate the damaging effects of this abuse.

Story

To raise money for charity, a lucky team of 13 are tackling a journey that many of us colleagues do on a frequent basis - Crewe to Weybridge - BUT this time ...BY BIKE!

The route is 200 miles and will take two days, we’ll cycle from Crewe through Birmingham, Stratford-Upon-Avon, and Oxford before landing up back at Weybridge.

We are sure that after a weekend on the saddle we’ll never complain about the length of the drive or the traffic again!

The team taking part are:

* Mike Bottom

* Steve Carpenter

* Antony Smith

* Bruce Terry

* Chris Jeffery

* Grant Johnson

* Chris Moat

* Matt Doyle

* Ricky Parnell

* Sean Gallivan

* Barry Crowney

* Chris Pettit

And myself Trevor Norwood.

I am raising funds for local Crewe charity - Survive. The charity provides a one to one counselling service, free of charge and run totally by volunteers, to those who have been affected by sexual and domestic abuse. Last year alone, Survive helped over 40 adults access vital support and this number is ever increasing due to the recent high publicity of abuse cases.

It would be absolutely lovely to have your support in anyway you can give it. If you are able to donate to this amazing charity, please donate online or you are welcome to send me a cheque.

If you would like to support by cheering us on leaving Crewe, over the weekend or welcoming us into Weybridge then that would also be fantastic.

Thank you so much for your support - it is so very appreciated.
