Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On the 19th May we are joining University of Nottingham staff and supporters to tackle the "Way of  the Roses" and raise funds for the Children's Brain Tumour Research Centre, the world leading research centre to tackle this awful disease. In the UK 10 children are diagnosed every week, but thankfully 7 out of the 10 will now survive this disease. Brain tumour research receives less than 1% of the UK's cancer research funds - every pound donated is vital so please help us in our fundraising quest!

The Way of the Roses is one of the best "coast to coast" routes in England, running 170 miles across the Yorkshire Dales between Morecombe and Bridlington. Kim is an enthusiastic and regular cyclist. On the other hand, Trevor has hardly been on a bike since his days on his Raleigh Chopper so this may well be quite challenge...in more ways than one.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
