Story
What we're doing:
To celebrate the release of my debut young adult horror novel, The Triangle, I am raising money for a charity I believe in. The fundraiser will run from now until June 30th.
I set the target to $400, but truth be told, I'd love to see the donations go beyond that. I'm sure Bideawee would, too. So, whatever you can spare is greatly appreciated.
The top donor will receive:
1) A signed paperback copy of The Triangle.
2) Signed copies of my short fiction collections Her Infernal Name & Other Nightmares (an honorable mention in The Best Horror of the Year, Vol. 13) and People.
3) I will name a character after you in a short story, novel or novella. You may live. You may get offed by a monster, ghost or scary person. Who knows? Either way, your name will live forever in whatever form the story exists.
4) A random paperback from my bookshelf. Not by me. Totally random and just for funsies.
The second-highest donor will receive:
1) A signed copy of The Triangle.
2) A signed copy of Her Infernal Name & Other Nightmares.
The third-highest donor will receive:
1) A signed copy of Her Infernal Name & Other Nightmares

Bideawee's story:
Since their founding in 1903, as one of our country’s first no-kill animal shelters, Bideawee has been rescuing dogs and cats and providing them with the shelter, medical care, training, socialization, and, most importantly, the love they need to become lifelong companions. From newborn kittens, to sweet senior animals, to victims of natural disasters, your donations make it possible for us to provide a safe haven for thousands of innocent animals in need every year. Together, we are giving them a new lease on life.
My story:
When my dad retired, he told my mom "I'm getting a Lexus."
Well, one day when my mom and sister went to Bideawee, they fell in love with a pair of puppies. Siblings. All of the pups in the litter were claimed and their mother was, too. My mom named our puppy Lexus and he brought an insane amount of happiness to my family until he passed away after living a long, happy life.
Bideawee is an important place to my family. And the families of so many Long Islanders. It's a place to find a home for a pet in need. A place to lay your beloved four-legged family member to rest. It's a place of hope for the future and a memorial to those of the past.
That is why I want to support Bideawee along with celebrating the release of my debut young adult novel, THE TRIANGLE.
