Story

Please help us as we support children at Chipwepwete to improve their learning environment

Imagine trying to learn sitting on a dusty floor, or without a school lunch or exercise book.

This year we are fundraising particularly to continue to provide free school lunches and educational resources for every child at Chipwepwete primary school. We are also aspiring to build another double classroom block with store rooms at a cost of around £30,000 in total.

Small donations as well as larger donations are impactful and important. Every £ helps and if we all do something small, together we can do extraordinary things.

£15 provides a free school lunch and exercise books and classroom stationary for a child at Chipwepwete for a whole school year, with money left over to provide uniform for the most vulnerable.

£25 could buy 2 bags of cement (200 are needed)

£50 could buy a window (24 are needed) or a new desk (60 needed)

£100 could buy 100 cement blocks (4000 are needed)

£1,000 could buy beams for a classroom

£2,000 could buy iron sheets for a classroom

We know that an excellent education is truly life changing and the hopes and dreams of students at Chipwepwete very much mirror our own. We share the same values – to care for others, to promote equal opportunities between girls and boys, and to share kindness, joy and friendship particularly at this time of year.

Thank you so much for supporting our appeal.
