We address the effects of homelessness to offer solutions, hope and choices

Story

On Friday 5th May, Trinity are hosting their 5th annual Big Sleep Out fundraising event in the grounds of Winchester Cathedral. Staff and volunteers will be joining in the challenge of sleeping outside - and you can support them here.

The Big Sleep Out is a challenge to spend the night sleeping outside in the Inner Close, with just a sleeping bag and cardboard shelter for protection. This is not an experience of being homeless, as we could not begin to understand the realities of sleeping rough night after night, but is a fun way to raise money, and an eye opening experience too.

Where will the sponsorship money go?

£75 Could pay for two counselling sessions for a woman fleeing domestic abuse

£100 Could pay for hot meals for one person for 3 months

£140 Could pay the building costs for one day

£750 Could pay for a full year of support for a homeless person.

Last year Trinity worked with 650 people - and we need your help to maintain this level of support. Please sponsor the team for taking on this challenge, and support a local charity.
