Team Elijah's Star are rowing 3,000 miles across the Atlantic in support of Action Medical Research. They're rowing for babies born too soon, shining a spotlight on the impact premature birth and to help fund more research.

Story

My better half Simon, my brother Maurice and I all completed our own self-funded Tandem Skydive challenge on Saturday 14th August 2021 at Sibson Airfield in Cambridgeshire, supported on the ground by family and friends! Many thanks to the fabulous team at Sibson for a great day 🤗🪂🪂🪂

We would like to continue to raise funds for our amazing friends at #backtheboat and support Team Elijah's Star who are rowing 3,000 miles across the Atlantic in support of Action Medical Research later this year. They're rowing for babies born too soon, shining a spotlight on the impact premature birth has on babies and their families and to help fund more research that can save lives. The team have taken their name from baby Elijah, a premature but much-loved son and brother, who sadly lived for just 37 days.10% of all births are premature and globally, its the biggest killer of children under 5. Its too many. Far too many. Action Medical Research is committed to fighting for childrens lives, finding answers that can lead to medical breakthroughs for some of the toughest fights our children face.

Thank you to all our wonderful friends and family who have donated so far!
