I will be taking part in the London Marathon 2010, on behalf of the St John Ambulance, of which I am a member.

The SJA is dedicated to saving lives and believes that everyone who needs it should received first aid from those around them. To that end it is the premier FA provider and trainer in the country. It covers public events of all varieties across the country and many could not go ahead without the First Aid, medical and nursing cover provided by the SJA. It's members are drawn from across the communities and freely give their time to train and attend the public. They give over 5 million hours of their own time every year in order to save, treat and care for others.

I have only started running competitively this year. I have completed various 10k road runs, cross country challenges and half marathons so am looking forward to the 'Big One'. I have a place with the SJA team and am committed to raising as much as I can.
