Alive and Kicking is a not for profit ball manufacturer. Through the production of sports balls we create employment for adults from vulnerable job groups. We then use profits from ball sales, additional fundraising and partnership development to deliver sport and health education programmes.

Story

Jim Cogan died tragically on 27th September. He started Alive and Kicking 3 years ago. It has already, and can in the future, change the lives of so many African young people. For this reason, and for Jim's sake, Alive and Kicking must flourish. We urgently need money. We need about £12,000 a month to operate and have only £30,000 in the bank. Kenya is now self sufficient. Zambia can be so within 12 months. During this next year we also want to safeguard Alive and Kicking's long term future.
