Willow Burn Hospice provides free end-of-life and palliative care in County Durham for people living with incurable illnesses and those closest to them, now and in the future.

Story

Willowburn Hospice was opened in 1989 and provides Derwentside and the surrounding area with an essential service. As well as in-patient beds with Day Hospital, the Hospice provides 24 hours a day nursing, advice and support, Out Patient Clinics, Hospice at Home Services and Bereavement Support Services. Although partly funded by Government, the majority of the money required to keep the Hospice open is found through the generosity and warmth of the people of the North East.

Elddis Transport are supporting Willowburn by pledging to raise £50,000 by donating 15 pence for every mile this vehicle travels. Find out how you can help and also how the project is progressing by visiting: www.trucking4willowburn.co.uk
