Myeloma UK Skydive 2018
Campaign by Myeloma UK (RCN SC026116)
On Saturday 1 September a fantastic group of supporters will be helping to make myeloma history by jumping out of a plane and freefalling from 10,000ft.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Multiple Myeloma is a rarely known cancer arising from plasma cells, made in the bone marrow that forms part of the immune system. Myeloma represents only 2% of all cancers, and although treatments can control the disease and reduce symptoms, there is presently no cure. However, improvements to treatment over the last decade has meant that survival rates for myeloma are increasing at the fastest rate among all cancer types in the UK. By doing the skydive I hope to raise more awareness of this life changing condition and at the same time raise some money for Myeloma UK. It is the only organisation dealing exclusively with myeloma in the UK. They do a fantastic job and I’d like to be able to give something back as they have helped us enormously. Myeloma UK relies almost entirely on voluntary donations and fundraising activities.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
