Story
I am running a half marathon in April for Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) Children’s Charity. So far I’ve ran a few 5ks so all I need to do is mooosh that all into one big run - easy peasy!
Children come from all over the U.K. (and the world) to GOSH as the hospital a leader in the treatment of rare and complex paediatric illnesses. GOSH really is an amazing place and it relies on the support of the charity to be able to improve the experience of children and their families, and deliver world-class care. The charity funds all sorts, from family accommodation next to the hospital, through to mind-boggling medical research to find new treatments.
As someone who works for the Charity, I have seen firsthand all the incredible work that donations help to fund. The children and staff I meet inspire me everyday with their bravery and positivity - so me lugging myself around 21.1km is the very least I can do to help out!
Any donations are hugely appreciated and if you’d like to hear more about GOSH I am always happy to babble on about it (as I’m sure you can tell) so please do reach out or visit the website: https://www.gosh.org/what-we-do
