Story
The Salvation Army has been providing care, compassion and practical support to people in need for more than 150 years. Wherever there is hardship, injustice or pain, its mission remains the same: to stand alongside people and offer hope, dignity and support without discrimination.
At Sale Salvation Army, this work continues at the heart of our local community. Support includes food provision, a listening ear, assistance for victims and survivors of domestic abuse and modern-day slavery, support for families and children, and practical help for those facing difficult circumstances — including our annual Christmas Toy Appeal.
Across the wider Salvation Army, support reaches people experiencing homelessness, escaping violence, trapped in addiction or struggling with their mental health. Every person is treated with dignity and compassion, with services designed to help people move beyond the circumstances they are facing.
This work is made possible through the generosity of donors, volunteers, businesses and community supporters. Every supporter becomes part of something bigger — helping to bring hope, dignity and practical support to people when they need it most.
We thank you for your donations that ensure our work in the local community of Sale and the surrounding areas can continue.
God bless you.
