The Salvation Army - We provide unconditional friendship, support and practical help to people in crisis and in need

Story

Twenty four hours a day, every day of the year. The Salvation Army provide care and support to people in need. In fact its what we've done for over 150 years. We help people affected by disasters or financial troubles. We help people who are experiencing homelessness or escaping violence We help people trapped in addiction or battling mental illness We help anyone feeling hopeless. We are a community- a movement of people fighting injustice. Together we offer unconditional love and support, without discrimination.

In Welling we are committed to feeding every hungry mouth and making sure people don't go without. We want to build a new, fit for purpose kitchen in  order to aid our mission and ministry in Welling. Our goal is to tackle food poverty, food wastage and social isolation by building on what we currently do by creating a fit for purpose kitchen that will enable us to create opportunities to educate people about food poverty and food waste, whilst also creating opportunities for people to share together whilst sharing food.

Help us to help our community.

We know we face an uphill battle but we are committed to making the dream of a new kitchen a reality
