At Shipley Salvation Army, we have supported local people since 1882 - from our 'building that looks like a castle' just off Fox Corner.

We aim to be a diverse and intentionally inclusive Church and Charity with a firm belief in the Vision - "Fullness of life for all with Jesus" - and the Intention - "Love God, Love Others" - of The Salvation Army UK.

Over the years we have kept homes warm, food in the cupboards, and given families a place to belong and receive support in many different ways. As well as our busy School Uniform Support Project, we currently run many other activities throughout the week to support our local community including Toddlers, Family and Youth groups. All are welcome and we love being a part of such a fantastic community across Shipley, Bingley, Windhill, Baildon and all areas in between.

We are currently awaiting some building improvements which we hope will increase the amount of support we are able to provide in our local community. We will be carrying out some extra fundraising activities in the next 2 years to raise funds for the internal components of this refurbishment - more details to follow soon.
