Students from under-resourced backgrounds are three times less likely to make it to a top university than peers from more advantaged backgrounds. We support these students to access top universities through bespoke mentoring, skills-building coaching, tuition, and enrichment activities.

Story

We're riding 100 miles around London and Essex in memory of Dr Bransden, who was passionate about supporting people's access to education, regardless of their background.

The Access Project helps talented young people from disadvantaged backgrounds reach top universities so they can realise their potential and access a range of more rewarding careers. We do this by matching each young person with two mentors, one-to-one, including a volunteer tutor. This approach works: our students are 4x as likely as young people like them at other schools to reach a top university.
