Rare Disease UK is a national campaign for people with rare diseases and all who support them. We believe that everyone living with a rare disease should be able to receive high quality services, treatment and support. Rare Disease UK is a campaign run by the charity Genetic Alliance UK.

Story

As a business TSL promotes a family-focused culture and finds it important our core values promote both internally and externally, as such we’ve decided to use our resources to support those who deserve it most. Rare Disease UK is an amazing campaign run by the Genetic Alliance UK to support families and influence services needed by these patients, their values and incredible work they do deserve the highest of praise and, we hope, financial support to further increase the amount of good they can do for those in the UK and around the world.

Why Rare Disease?

Rare disease UK provides a united voice for the rare disease community by capturing the experiences of patients and families. They work with supporters to raise the profile of rare diseases across the UK. They are seeking to bring about lasting change by offering better health and quality of life for individuals and families affected by rare diseases. 1 in 17 people will be affected by a rare disease at some point in their life, for which there is often far less support and understanding. Their work falls into different categories: reproductive  techniques, diagnosis, medical research, healthcare and delivery, access to treatments and living and education.

3 Events will take place via members of the company:
