Story
As the Fundraising Officer here at The Survivors Trust, I get to look after the wonderful people that go out of their way to help raise money to support our work. I am constantly inspired by their dedication, bravery, and selflessness. That's why this June, the TST team will be completing our own fundraising effort to say a massive thank you to them and all of our supporters. With varying ages and fitness levels, we have decided to complete a gruelling Half Iron Man Triathlon (70.3 miles) split over three weekends...
Fay, our CEO, will be completing a 1.2 mile swim on the 21st of June.
Sarah, our Communications Officer, will be completing the Charnwood Primavera, a 58 mile bike ride on the 16th of June (due to lack of uptake, this event has been postponed to Sunday the 8th of September)
and Annabelle, our Fundraising & Training Officer, will be completing the Compton Verney Half Marathon, a 13 mile run on the 30th of June.
In this office we much prefer cake to training, so this is a huge challenge for us!
All funds raised will be put towards maintaining our helpline and supporting the volunteers that run it, so please dig deep! It costs roughly £5 to run the helpline for an hour so even the smallest contribution can have a massive impact. Details below:
