Story

Tunnocks Flotilla - The Great Clyde Cruise for RNLI

Monday 31st May 2021 - Clyde Cruising Club and other Clyde based Yacht and Boating Clubs & Marinas are combining to bring you a spectacular Flotilla as a fundraiser for the 2021 season,. The biggest mass Flotilla on the Clyde, open to all boats with two mustering points on the water near Gourock and near Kip.  At 2pm there will be a grand Three Cheers for the RNLI, led by Sir Boyd Tunnock at the two mustering points afloat. Join with your boat or walk along to the sea front and watch the Flotilla.

****Please state your Boat Name and Marina of departure in the comments when you leave a donation to give us an idea of numbers from each location. ****                                                                                                                                                                                                                   About RNLI                                           (Royal National Lifeboat Institution): RNLI lifeboats in Scotland protect hundreds of communities with a 24-hour search and rescue service. Volunteer crews rely on the safest, most reliable lifeboats and modern stations to launch from. Scotland has the UK's most scenic waters, but the sea remains an unpredictable environment that can catch people out. People will always need the RNLI's help and they are always there to answer that call. 2020 was a bad year for fundraising, so help us make 2021 a far better one by investing your donation in the lifesaving service that we all want to be there.  It costs around £155k/year to run a typical RNLI station, please dig deep into your pocket.

Thank you.
