Hello. So, I’ve decided to trek the Himalayas. And raise money for Asha Nepal in the process. Those who even know me well, are probably questioning my sanity. Those who don’t, should be quite envious right now. Either way, Goecha La in Sikkim, here I come… 10 to 21 October.

 

This is a demanding trek around the eastern side of Kanchenjunga - the third highest mountain in the world and straddles the border of India and Nepal. I’ll be trekking through the lush forests and high alpine environments with altitudes between 1,000m and 4,500m, and temperatures ranging between 25 ̊C to -15 ̊C.

 

Ok, so I may have left the training a bit late. But my pain is Asha's gain. So, I'd appreciate if you help to reach the fundraising target. And to note, Asha is the Nepali word for Hope. Thank you.
