We are the Turner family! Mikey - our son and brother - is a resident at Chailey Heritage Foundation. It's one of the UK's leading centres for children and young people with complex neurodisabilities. 

Chailey is a very special place with superb facilities and an outstanding team of support workers. Everyone is focused on giving Mikey the best quality of life, by offering him experiences that help him achieve his potential.

We would have been taking part in the Focus 10k run on 31st May to help raise much needed funds for Chailey. Sadly this event cannot go ahead as planned. Instead, the event is now going to be a series of individual activities - a virtual event. We will each undertake two challenges on the 31st May in order to complete 10 activities as a family. All of us, including Mikey, will be taking part - either running, cycling, or exercising. It should be quite a day!

We're also delighted to say that our friends - the Wilkinson family - will also now be taking part this Sunday to help boost our fundraising. A huge thank you to them and all their supporters.

We hope we can inspire you to take part. Either by doing your own activity to support Chailey, or by sponsoring us. It's such a worthwhile cause and what's really motivating is that any sponsorship money raised will be matched by the event sponsor - Focus Group. A big 'thank you' to them.
