Story

In 2020 I decided to train for a Bob Graham Round. This challenge combines my love of the Lake District with my desire to push my limits.

It is:

42 Lake District Summits

66 miles

26,900 feet of ascent.

... in under 24 hours.

Become unwell in the Lake District fells and you will likely require HM Coastguard Search & Rescue, Mountain Rescue,  or the Great North Air Ambulance Service.

As one of the HEMS Paramedics at GNAAS I am acutely aware of the lives saved by these services and the fundraising efforts undertaken by the public to keep both Mountain Rescue and GNAAS operating!!

This will be a personal challenge testing my physical & mental strength, and it will take place in the region covered by the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS)!

So I trying to turn 'running up a few hills' into some life saving funds for GNAAS!

About the charity
