Story
We are fundraising to support Different Strokes' Reclaim 2020 Campaign. We will be doing this by hosting an online quiz on Friday 11th December at 9pm. Your donations will support the services provided by Different Strokes for the increasing number of younger survivors in the UK.
When Paul had a stroke at the age of 35, we found there was very little support available for younger stroke survivors; the support available in our area was mainly aimed at much older people, who faced different challenges. This is why we are supporting Different Strokes, who provide much-needed support to younger stroke survivors.
We are asking for donations on a 'pay what you can' basis. Your donation will give you entry to the quiz, where the prize for first place is a £50 Amazon voucher!
Quiz Information
- You will need 2 devices to play the quiz. One to join Zoom so you can see and hear us asking the questions, and one to answer the questions on KwizzBit (a smartphone or tablet will probably work best for this)
- About an hour before the quiz starts, we will send the Zoom link and a KwizzBit code to everyone who has made a donation
Instructions for joining the quiz on the day
1. Pick a device to watch on
2. Click the Zoom link and follow the onscreen instructions to join the meeting
3. Pick a device to play on
4. Go to www.kwbit.com on your playing device, enter the KwizzBit pin code we have sent you, and type in your team name
5. Wait for the quiz to start!
