On Saturday 19th February 2022, the 3rd annual #TwitterModelTrainShow will take place. For the first time we will use this event and the days surrounding it as a platform to raise money for the charity Railway Children. 

#TwitterModelTrainShow is an international online train show that gives anyone with a Twitter account the opportunity to share photos and videos of their railway models or enjoy model railways created by others.

Maintaining good mental health is a significant concern in these challenging times and it is hoped that the show will bring moments of fascination, joy and connection to all involved.

Meanwhile, thousands of children across the UK, India and East Africa run away or are forced to leave homes that have become unbearable through poverty, abuse, violence and neglect. Railway Children provides protection and opportunity for children with nowhere else to go and nobody to turn to.

The event on Twitter is free and you can enjoy or contribute to it simply by using the hashtag #TwitterModelTrainShow. If you enjoy the show please make a donation to Railway Children to support their work around the world.
