Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Simon and Michael have been friends for nearly 40 years - and after overindulging at their regular Boxing Day supper on a rather more than ordinary Claret, they foolishly (or not) felt that this year they should do more than simply write a cheque for charity.

Alzheimers can be a cruel and debilitating disease and one that is directly affecting Michaels family.

Training to cycle for London to Paris has already commenced and two fat chaps, definitely not in Lycra, have started to turn the pedals, eat and drink (slightly) more sensibly, and plan for the 19th of July where they will set out for four days in the saddle.

It would be unfair to ask you to watch them struggling around The Surrey Hills as that might put you into fits of hysterics; or off your supper, but they ask help by you making a donation. All given, however small, will be gratefully received and faithfully applied – not unlike the anti-chafing cream!

Dementia can shatter lives and has left millions heartbroken. But every pound raised brings us closer to a cure to defeat the diseases that causes this condition

Please give generously and support two fat old friends who are too old and should know better.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
