Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit ourJustGiving page.

Damian and Mike will be following the path taken by Jerome K Jerome and his two buddies and rowing from Kingston Upon Thames to Dean's Farm (the original site of the Shrine of Our Lady of Caversham) in order to raise money for the refurbishment of the Shrine.

Over the four days of the August bank holiday we will row for between 6 - 8 hours a day, will pass through 21 locks, 7 constituencies, under 3 motorways and the flight path of both runways at Heathrow airport and will, of course, follow the paths taken by the Kings and Queens of England as they were rowed up the Thames from Windsor to worship at the Shrine.

We hope you will sponsor us.

A Yorkshire man and a Lancastrian in a canoe for 4 days..........what could possibly go wrong.
