Refurbishment of Conquest Hospital's 21 courtyards which will be of great benefit for patient in recovery and respite as well as peaceful places for visitors and staff to escape the hurly burly of hospital life.

Story

The Conquest Hospital, built 25 years ago, had pride of place 21 beautiful garden courtyards accessible from wards and public walkways. These wonderful oasis's have not, sadly, fared well from the ravages of time and many are now overgrown and in a poor state of repair. A team of Volunteers have got together to rebuild and restore these courtyards to their therapeutic heights and using designs donated by leading garden designers will one by one put them back to use. Once completed the volunteers, with help from keen staff and patients will maintain them for all to enjoy. The team will be needing funds for plants and materials as well as for same additional tools. All donations will be massively appreciated.
