Story
Better late than never, and following more than a little persuasion... I have decided to run the London Marathon shortly after my 40th birthday!
If I can achieve this, I hope that I can inspire others who only 'run occasionally' and have a busy family life.
Two Wheels for Life is my chosen charity - their vision is a world where healthcare reaches everyone, everywhere. For the last thirty years they have been working to provide healthcare to people in the poorest and most remote parts of Africa – using motorcycles.
Their work is life-saving; helping fight infectious diseases such as HIV, TB, ebola, malaria and more recently COVID-19. My target of £1,000 would enable the charity to train a health worker to ride a motorcycle for transporting samples for diagnosis and crucial vaccines for infectious diseases, but the more I can raise, the more we can help people in desperate need.
Thank you so much for viewing my page and any contribution you could make would be hugely appreciated and valued by both me and also by the charity, allowing them to strengthen their crucial work.
Wish me luck!
