Running for Refugees is a team of 5 local people who are taking part in the Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon to help raise funds for Tunbridge Wells Welcomes Refugees.  TWWR is a small friendly group that aims to welcome and support refugees as they start to rebuild their lives here.  We are currently helping vulnerable families fleeing from the horrors of war in Syria. Many of them have lost everything and are trying hard to make a fresh start in our town.  Your generous donations can help provide practical support with housing, transport, education and leisure activities.  Thank you in advance and please keep in touch to see how your money is helping by visiting our Facebook page and our website.  You could even come along to our monthly meetings and see how you can make a difference.
