At Jewish Child’s Day we believe no Jewish child should live in poverty, need or suffering - anywhere. We support over 25,000 Jewish children every year, who suffer from physical and emotional disabilities, neglect, abuse and financial hardship, therefore your support will make a huge impact.

Story

With my Bar Mitzvah preparations in full swing, rather than receive presents, I have decided to twin my celebration with a 13 year old boy called Yisrael. Yisrael lives in an amazing Children's Home in Jerusalem called Beit Hayeled.  Over 120 children live at this home, run by an organisation called AMIT.  Their stories are all different but they have all been removed from their family homes to protect them.  At Beit Hayeled, the children live in family units with a surrogate Mother and Father.  They try to give them the family values and love that I and my friends take for granted.

I love football and so does Yisrael!  So, I have chosen to refurbish the football pitch which is currently in a terrible state.  So instead of buying me a present, please donate to this project & together we can make a long lasting difference to the daily lives of Yisrael, his friends and literally thousands more children who will get joy from the football pitch for years to come.

Thank you so much for supporting my project and I can't wait to celebrate with you.

(Jewish Child's Day, registered charity: 209266 are organising the twinning on my behalf and will forward all donations to AMIT.)
