The "golden hour" of trauma is the first 60 minutes following any injury or trauma. Prompt medical attention during this period can save one's life. This period is critical as the chances of survival depend on this window period. We are fundraising to purchase critical first aid supplies for people in Ukraine. These supplies are now massively needed across the country to minimize the number of casualties caused by constant shelling.
About us:
We are a volunteer group of Ukrainians living in the UK and all over the world, who, from day one of the war, alongside our day jobs, began working tirelessly to do what we could to help Ukraine.
We identify suppliers of essential medical and protective items and broker deals to help the Ukrainian government, foundations and grassroots volunteer groups. We use our global professional and personal networks to facilitate donations and delivery of humanitarian aid to Ukrainian hospitals and non-profits. Our focus is fast-tracking time to positive impact.
Our team is fundraising for a UK charity, British-Ukrainian Aid, whose aims align with ours. With the funds we are helping to raise, British-Ukrainian Aid can continue its mission to support people suffering from the war and humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. In particular, the charity is focusing on supplying essential medications, medical equipment and consumables requested by the Ukrainian doctors. These include tourniquets, Israeli bandages, individual first aid kits (IFAKs), and much more.
