Story

The University of Birmingham's medsoc netball club will be putting in as many miles as we can running, cycling and walking to raise money for Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity.

It is our mission to raise some of the vital funds needed to make a real difference to all who use this fantastic hospital. Through supporting our team you will be able to support the innovative approaches to treating some of the sickest children in the UK, help find new ways to treat and cure childhood diseases and ultimately make a difference to those families in need.

We will be competing against not only our own PB's but the other sports teams in our medics society. We will therefore not only being trying the reach the top of the leaderboard for our miles gained but also to raise more money than the other teams! Thank you.

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
