Hey, I'm Beanie and I'm excited to announce that i've signed up to climb Kilimanjaro starting on Tuesday 25th of August 2026 with a group of other students! I'm choosing to raise money to support Amnesty International UK, and my goal is to raise £4970.

Amnesty has an incredible global reach, and is a research-driven organization that strives to hold people and governments accountable when they deny others the right to health, safety, or life itself.

Particularly meaningful to me is their work advocating for fair asylum systems and safe routes for those fleeing conflict or persecution, as well as their work in campaigning for maternal health rights in countries such as Sierra Leone and the US, pushing for accountability when governments fail to provide safe, accessible healthcare for all.

The challenge i'm undertaking is not just about pushing myself outside of my comfort zone, it's about making a difference too! Every donation, big or small, will help me reach my target and support Amnesty International UK's important work.
