🌍 Taking on Kilimanjaro for Student Minds
Hi, I’m Ross, and in August 2026, I’ll be taking on the challenge of a lifetime: climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest freestanding mountain in the world, standing at 5,895m tall.
Over the past few years, I’ve been working my way through the Munros here in Scotland, pushing myself to new heights (literally!) and discovering how powerful the outdoors can be for mental wellbeing. Now, I’m taking that passion further, swapping Ben Nevis for Kilimanjaro to raise funds for an incredible cause: Student Minds.
Student Minds is the UK’s leading student mental health charity, working to empower students to look after their mental health, support one another, and thrive at university and beyond. Their work has never been more important, and every donation, big or small, helps make a real difference.
My fundraising goal is £3,380, and over the next year I’ll be taking on a range of challenges and events to reach it.
This isn’t just about climbing a mountain, it’s about supporting young people as they navigate theirs.
Thank you so much for your support! 💙
