Hi there!

I (Seamus) have signed up to take on the challenge of climbing Mt Kilimanjaro this year in an effort to raise money for charity.

I'm fundraising for Street Child, a charity organisation dedicated to ensuring every child has access to education. They work in over 20 of the world's lowest-income and disaster-affected countries, mkaing a huge impact on the lives of children and communities that are less privileged. Every donation, big or small, will help me support Street Child UK's important work.

As many of you know, I have always loved nature and the outdoors. From the moment I learned about Mt Kilimanjaro, I've wanted to climb it. It is home to a wide range of ecological climates, from the savanahh at low altitude, to rainforests and cloud forests (which I've always wanted to visit), and to an alpine desert at higher altitudes. This means it is an important, and extremely biodiverse habitat with many endemic species. Its impressive stature as the world's tallest freestanding mountain also ignites a desire within me to try conquering it (just imagine being at the summit).

Please help me achieve this dream while supporting an amazing cause by helping me reach my fundraising target.
