Story
Next year I have signed up to take part in the incredible challenge of trekking to Machu Picchu to raise awareness and vital funds for Street Child UK, who work tirelessly to ensure every child has the chance to go to school!
My goal is to raise £3000 for Street Child UK to help children build a brighter future for themselves.
Street Child is an international children’s education charity with presence in more than 20 of the world’s most low-income and disaster struck countries, aiming to breakdown the barriers that prevent children being safe at school.
What truly sets Street Child apart is their commitment to working with local-level in country organisations to deliver sustainable, community-led solutions.
From supporting on building and refurbishing schools, to training teachers and caregivers to develop small businesses that fund their children’s education.
One of the things that most inspired me to support Street Child is their unwavering commitment to getting out-of-school children into education and providing education in emergencies.
This challenge is not just about pushing myself outside my comfort zone but also about making a real difference to children’s lives in lower-income countries. Every donation, big or small will help me reach my target and support Street Child UK’s important work! Thank you!
