On the 25th August 2022 Mick Scott and Paul Hackett will set off from John O'Groats on a 9 day cycling trip to Lands End in aid of The British Heart Foundation, consisting of 8-10 hours cycling per day to get to each overnight locations.

We have chosen this charity firstly because one of our members in UK Cloud Magnets Chris Ratcliffe sadly died 3 years ago of heart failure and secondly our youngest member Millie Healey (otherwise known as Millie The Miracle) was born with a congenital heart defect who at the age of 11 has undergone 3 open heart surgical procedures with another pending.

We will be cycling totally unsupported throughout the entire journey which in total is 1526km/948miles and a staggering 10,522 meters total accent over the 9 days. 

These figures hurt our legs just thinking about them.

Neither of us are professional cyclists although we both enjoy the fun and fitness involved with endurance road cycling.

I will have a Live Tracker fitted to my bike so that people can follow our journey in real time.
