While UKPN might be known for keeping everyone's lights on (most of the time), we're also keen on igniting passions.

Inspiring the next generation into STEM careers is a cause close to the hearts of CiC team members Alessia Piemontese, Muraidi Mustaffa, Rachel Trewick, Paul Denton, Shaun DeSena and Simon Barons - that's one of the reasons why we're taking on the Palace to Palace ride in aid of the Princes Trust.

Cycling 45 miles from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Palace, we'll be taking part in this UKPN-wide initiative to raise money for the great work Princes Trust do in fostering lightbulb moments for youngsters.

While Alessia doesn't even have a bike yet, Shaun's never taken on this challenge, and Simon and Muraidi have never taken part in an event like this before, they're spurred on by Paul’s seasoned legs and Rachel's cycling clout and new-found enthusiasm and energy from volunteering in schools encouraging young children/adults into STEM career
