Uloom Academy is raising money this Ramadan to build 22 Borehole water wells in Nigeria because we want everyone to have access to clean water.

When asked which charity is best, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, “{Providing} water.” (Abu Dawood)

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Verily, among the good deeds that will join a believer after his death are these: knowledge which he taught and spread, a righteous child he leaves behind, a copy of the Qur'an he leaves for inheritance, a mosque he has built,a house he built for travelers, a water well he has dug, and charity distributed from his wealth while he was alive and well. These deeds will join him after his death.” [Ibn Mājah 242; Hasan]

• Life span - up to 15 years Insha'Allah
• Location: Nigeria

These Borehole water wells can transform lives. Clean and safe water improves health; it provides security and stability; it frees women & children from the daily chore of walking for hours to obtain water. That time can be devoted instead to pursuing education and livelihoods!
