Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So it all started on a bit of a whim really.... I entered Brighton Marathon on behalf of the Lovely Pink Ladies for Breast Cancer Now.....well, because I'd never run one and it seemed like a fun thing to do. From there, off the back of having a lovely Sunday mid- afternoon run, I thought "i love running what I should probably do is one a month for six months....that'd be quite challenging". I should probably point out that my lovely little Sunday mid-afternoon run was only about 10 miles so how I made the leap from a jolly 10 miles to to six marathons I'll never know but I did and so now I am.

A few years ago some of you will and some of you won't know that I was lucky enough to be involved in a 24hr Horse ride for Beths Pink Ladies. It hurt. It was long. It was ridiculously hard to organize. It made nearly everyone involved cry. But it was one of the most amazing things I have done. To be able to help those ladies honour their friend was a very proud moment, since then they have been tireless in their efforts to continue fund raising...including a recent clamber up Kilimanjaro!...so I figured it was time I put my best foot forward and did my best to come somewhere close to showing them how amazing they are and that their efforts are not going un-noticed.

So here's to you Beths Pink Ladies....I am doing this for Breast Cancer Now but mostly I'm doing it for you.
