As many of your know, my brother has been involved with River of Life Uganda for almost 20 years! In his gap year he helped lay the foundation stone for a building to help house some boys who had been living on the streets, a project called The White Eagles.
That original building has served its purpose, and in order to move the Church's support for these young lads to the next level, we're raising money to build a new, better, more suitable building to not only house the children, but to provide them with a home and support where they can thrive.
I'm hoping to raise a £2000, to kick start this - we'll need £15,000 plus to realise our ambitions! The event I've entered is the Ultra marathon run by Endurancelife, on the Gower Peninsula. More details can be found here if you want to see the route - https://www.endurancelife.com/gower
