Story

Thank you for saying hello!

My challenge was to raise £10,000 pounds between November 2006 and December 2007 in memory of my Uncle Steve. He was looked after by the terrific folk at Willow Wood Hospice and therefore this is his chosen charity.

So many things have happened and so many people have been very successful in raising loads of money for a fantastic cause in memory of a fantastic person. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!

Father Bernard of St Peters, Stalybridge has made a further donation of £100.00. Thank you also for your very kind words and encouragement. The people of St Peters parish have been very generous thourghout our appeal, this is very much appreciated.

With the donations and pledges made at our party on the 23rd December 2007 we are pleased to confirm we have reached and exceeded the £10,000 mark. The webpage will remain open for 1 more month whilst we wait for a few final juicy donations! I am also in negotiation to get the 'cost' of the christmas cheer wine paid for which would almost double what we have raised by selling the wine! Watch this space!!!

1 month left - lets get to £12000!!!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: Tameside And Glossop Hospice Limited will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.

Please do all you can!

12k and counting................

Lots of love   Karen xx.
