An astonishing 25 local people have registered for the BUPA Great Run in order to raise much needed funds for the Worcester Snoezelen. Training has begun for the team compiled of staff and friends from the University of Worcester and the Worcester Snoezelen. The University contacted the Snoezelen Centre with the idea back in May and after a little persuasion, a number of Snoezelen staff (reluctantly) signed up for the event. However, the group just seems to grow! 

Here at the University of Worcester we are determined to raise funds for this worthwise cause. Please help us reach our target (and with a little healthy competition maybe try and beat the Snoezey Runners fundraisng total in the process!).  

The Worcester Snoezelen is a registered charity and every year we have a large deficit of funds that needs to be generated through grants and donations. This year we have £70,000 to find! The funds raised from this event will be put toward the continuing running costs to keep their services open.
