Hi from UNICEF on campus,

Its easy for toxic air to go unnoticed, but we need to take urgent action to protect children from it's hazardous effects. Here are some fast facts on the issue: across 86% of the UK, children are breathing in harmful levels of toxic air. A child that grows up breathing this kind of air is four times more likely to have reduced lung function in adulthood. It has been predicted that this problem could cost the UK £5.3 billion by 2035 in health and social care costs.

...thats why a group of our most enthusiastic members will be putting on their running shoes and lapping the Meadows on the 3rd of March in aid of UNICEF UK! We are not seasoned runners (far from it) but we are passionate about the work we do for UNICEF UK and we hope you will be too.
